The ISMED-CLIM project addresses the health challenges posed by climate change in the Mediterranean, a region facing rising temperatures, air pollution, and extreme weather. Vulnerable groups, such as outdoor workers and older adults, are at significant risk, making targeted solutions essential.

Through five Living Labs in eight Mediterranean sites, ISMED-CLIM tests early warning tools and health interventions. These efforts aim to reduce climate-related health risks and strengthen healthcare systems’ resilience.
