Role

Georgia Ntina is the Head of Finance & Administration at FAME lab. She is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and administering the financial records, systems and processes of the lab.  

Georgia Ntina is the Head of Finance & Administration at FAME lab. With over 10 years of experience in finance and administration, Georgia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. From strategic planning to financial leadership her role supports the people and resources that keep the lab’s mission moving forward. Georgia has experience in EU and international funded project management as well, monitoring the overall process and supporting the coordination of the projects. She is characterized by her passion for working in interdisciplinary teams and her interest in new impulses and trends.

Georgia Ntina has been the Head of Finance & Administration at FAME Lab since 2016 where her expertise spanned financial reporting, budget development and analysis, and operational management. Georgia’s responsibilities require an understanding of various operations and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. After completing her studies in Business Administration at the University of Thessaly and later on at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, she worked in the private sector as a Programme and Funding Manager providing financial monitoring and project management support for a broad portfolio of research projects. Georgia is a certified Data Protection Officer and is trained in Intellectual Property assessment to support informed decision-making, enhancing her ability to evaluate innovation potential and manage research outcomes strategically.
